The Board of
Trustees serve as the legislative body. The six Trustees are elected
from the Village at large. The Mayor or Village President and Clerk
are elected at large. The term of the Village President, Trustees
and Clerk are four year staggered terms. Other positions (non elective)
are appointed by the Mayor or President with the advice and consent
of the Board of Trustees. The appointed positions include the following:
Treasurer, Administrator, Collector, Director of Public Works or
Village Engineer and Chief of Police. By adoption of local ordinance
the Administrator is empowered to conduct certain day to day operations
of the community and serves as administrative head of the utility,
street, engineering, building and zoning, police and administrative
office departments of the Village.

volunteerism of our residents and the many opportunities
to enjoy the simple things - like Lindenfest, the Forest
Preserves, and our lakes and parks. I would like

residents and work toward achieving their goals from a
fiscally responsible standpoint. Additionally, I
